Cumann Cámogaíocht na nGael have organised for ‘Clare Camogie Easter Camps’ to take place over the Easter break. These camps, which are for girls between 8 to 11 years, will take place in Scariff and Newmarket-on-Fergus on Monday March 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st. Due to Féile taking place in Clare this year, there is also a special Féile camp for all players under 14 in Tulla on the same dates. The camps are being organised by our own Deirdre Murphy who is the Munster Camogie Development Coordinater. Coaches from Clare Senior Hurling and Camogie Panels will spend the 3 days of the camps passing on their knowledge and advice to our budding young stars.

The camp costs 30 euro per child and in order to ensure that each player receives sufficient attention, places are limited to 50 girls per camp, so book early!!

Application forms can be sourced from Sheelagh Daffy, camogie PRO.

Under 12 camogie training has been underway for the last few weeks on Saturday evenings at 5pm under the guidance of Martha Deegan, Dave Barry and a number of the senior camogie team. Anyone interested in learning camogie and making new friends, feel free to come along!
