The Senior camogie girls had a very good win over Scariff/Ogonnelloe on Sunday morning in Clooney. They are now through to a league playoff match against Newmarket-on-Fergus possibly to be played on Friday but to be confirmed. The final score from Sunday was ClooneyQuin 2-13 Scariff/Ogonnelloe 1-4.
The team on the day was Sheelagh Daffy, Imelda Colleran, Amy Colleran, Triona Gallagher, Christine Colleran, Aisling Hannon, Jess O' Neill, Kelly McClean, Orlaith Duggan, Aisling Corbett, Deirdre Murphy, Claire Ryan, Gemma Hassett, Saidhbhe Corbett, Karen O'Riordan, Laura Conheady, Siobhain Lee, Emms Sheehy, Rebecca Kennedy. Mary Clune was unable to play on the day due to injury. The opening score of the game set the tone for the rest game, with Kelly bursting out of midfield with the ball, passes it to Saidhbhe who in turn passes it to Gemma and Gemma calmly pops it over the bar. The scorers in the game were Deirdre, Gemma, Claire, Orlaith and Aisling Corbett.
