The PK Coaches Senior Camogie League final was played last Friday May 14th with our girls up against the reigining county champions. Unfoutunately on the day Clooney Quin did not get the better of Kilmaley. The full time score was Kilmaley 2-11 Clooney Quin 2-3. Clooney Quin were very unfortunate the week before the game as Amy Colleran broke her hand and Claire Ryan broke her finger. The team had a strong league campaign and the experience gained from this final and other matches should stand to them when they play the first round of the championship at the end of July. The girls will be putting in a lot of hard work between now and July, with their sights firmly set on the 2010 championship.
