There has been nearly four weeks of a break between the first and second rounds of the senior camogie championship and this weekend Clooney-Quin take on Kilmaley........... writes Marie Begley.
One point has been secured from the first round game against Kilkishen where the game ended in a draw.
The girls last met Kilmaley in the League final but Kilmaley were the stronger team on the day and claimed the title.
The team have been training since last January and much effort has been put in by both the players and mentors.
Please come out and support the girls.
This weekends game is on Sunday in the camogie field in Shannon at 12:30

Finally the camogie club are very proud of their three county U18 camogie stars whom helped Clare to the All Ireland final this year.
Unfortunately, after a replay last Sunday Clare were beaten by Galway.
Very well done to Jessica O'Neill, Orlaith Duggan and Saidhbhe Corbett.
