The Draws for the Senior and Intermediate hurling Championships were made on Tuesday, March 31st..............

The Senior hurlers have been drawn in Group 1, along with the seeded team, last years County semi-finalists, Crusheen,  with Kilmaley, Corofin and Smith O'Briens completing the five-team group, with two to qualify for the County quarter-finals.
Having come so close to qualifying for the Quarter-finals of the Championship last season, hopes are high that the Seniors can emerge from their Group. This will be a difficult assignment however, as all five teams have the credentials to beat any other team in the group on a given day.
The Intermediate side, County Championship semi-finalists from last year, have also been given a difficult assignment, being drawn in Group 1 along with Ruan, Whitegate, Ennistymon and Parteen.
The team have qualified for the knock-out stages for the past two seasons, but they will have a massive battle on their hands to secure one of the three quarter-final spots on offer in the Group.
The Championships are scheduled to commence on the weekend of May 16th, so both teams will be getting down to some serious work over the next few weeks.
The Junior A Football and Hurling, plus the Junior B and C Hurling Championship draws will take place at a later stage...........
