The Clooney Quin Senior hurlers face a massive test of their ability on Saturday when they take on Clarecastle in Round 4 of the County Championship in Cusack Park at 5PM..............

Having notched up two wins from two, the local lads have placed themselves in an excellent position to qualify for the quarter finals of the County Championship for the first time in Decades. However, their next two games are against the teams that have been fancied to qualify from the Group since the draw was made in May, Clarecastle and Kilmaley.
Featuring a host of players who have represented Clare at all levels over the years. Clarecastle will enter this game as favourites. However, the form of the Clooney lads recently has been excellent, and they will certainly make it difficult for the Magpies, who will complete their series of Group games on Saturday knowing that a win for them is vital.
The game is scheduled for Cusack Park with a 5PM start. A big Clooney/Quin support will be needed as they go in search of the scalp of one of Clares strongest club sides.
