Seniors Take On Reigning County Champions

If Clooney/Quin are to qualify for the County Senior Hurling semi-final, they will have to do it the hard way as the take on reigning County Champions, Clonlara in an eagerly awaited quarter-final clash in Cusack Park on Sunday. Backboned by six of the Clare Under 21 All-Ireland Champions, Clonlara will enter the game as hot favourites, but the Clooney/Quin lads have been impressive in many of their games this year and hopes are high that they can push the South-East Clare side all the way. Support is needed, so get along to Cusack Park on Sunday for the 3.45 start, or earlier as their is an attractive Double-header scheduled, with the first game at 2.15PM.
