The Senior hurlers secured a merited 3-15 to 1-14 win over Ballyea in Round 3 of the Senior Hurling Championship on Tuesday, August 9th in Clarecastle. Goals from Mick Daffy, Peter Duggan and Cathal Egan proved decisive in a game that Ballyea led for long periods. Going into the final quarter four points down, the side dominated the play and ran out seven point winners at the end.
They will play Kilmaley next, with this game scheduled for the weekend after next.
