The 4th Annual Abbey Stores Quin  U14 Hurling Tournament, kindly sponsored by the O’Halloran Family, took place on Saturday last at Clooney/Quin GAA Grounds. 
After a parade through Quin Village led by Tulla Pipers a series of 8 matches in total took place. Moycullen of Galway emerged as winners of the Abbey Stores Cup defeating Ballina of Tipperary in a hectic finish by two points.The final score was  2 - 6  to  2 - 4.
In a very exciting Abbey Stores Shield Final, Liam Mellowes of Galway defeated hosts Clooney/Quin on a scoreline of   6 - 3   to  5 - 2.
All arrangements are in place for Saturdays Abbey Stores sponsored  U-14 Hurling Tournament. 
The day begins with a Parade through Quin village @ 12:00. Then its off to Hennessy Memorial Grounds for the Tournament. This year the participating teams are Moycullen - Galway, Ballina - Tipperary, Liam Mellowes - Galway, and host club, Clooney Quin.

Following the past three weeks hectic schedule of matches, the teams that have qualified for the knock-out stages have a well-earned weekend off to enjoy the Bank Holiday.
The semi-finalists have been finalised for all four Divisions, with the fixtures set to take place on the Weekend of October 30th.

The Abbey Stores 3rd Annual U14 Hurling Tournament takes place this Saturday 4th of September.
This years competing clubs are Liam Mellowes and Moycullen from Galway, Mungret/St. Pauls from Limerick and the host club.  
As is the tradition, the Days action commences with the four teams taking part in a Parade through the street in Quin at 12 noon, with the first matches commencing at Clooney-Quin GAA Grounds at 1PM.
The Match schedule is as follows:
1:00 - Clooney/Quin V Liam Mellows and Mungret V Moycullen
1:45 - Clooney V Mungret and Moycullen V Liam Mellowes
Break for food
3PM - Clooney v Moycullen and Mungret v Liam Mellowes
4PM - "B" Final followed by Presentation of Prizes
4.30PM - "A" Final followed by Presentation of Prizes
