Congratulations to Under 14 hurler, Keith Hogan, who, representing Clare in the All-Ireland Féile Hurling Skills Competition, finished-up in second position..............
This years Competition was held in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise. Unfortunately for the participants, rain, wind and bitter cold made conditions extremely difficult.
This didn't phase Keith, who, having struggled to shake off a back injury for the past two weeks, turned a starring performance, which netted him the runner-up spot behind the Tipperary representative, John McGrath from Loughmore/Castleiney, son of former Tipperary Star, Pat and brother of current Tipperary Minor Star, Noel.
Michael Mullins from Gort in Galway was third.
Keith maintains a terrific record the Club has in the All-Ireland Competition. Derek Ryan was third in 2002, while Cillian Duggan was second a year later, with cousin Peter Duggan in fifth place in 2006.
Well done, once again, Keith. All your hard work was rewarded!
