The proud record of the club in the County Feile Hurling Skills Competition was maintained on Saturday when Keith Hogan beat all-comers to be crowned Co. Champion.
This is the second successive year that the title has been won by Clooney/Quin with Peter Duggan winning in 2007. Derek Ryan took the honours in 2003 as did Cillian Duggan in 2004, making it 4 winners in 6 years from our own club. Also of note is that this is the 3rd competitive fixture on 'The New Pitch' and C/Q is still unbeaten!
Keith will represent the county at the Feile Finals to be held in Laois/Offaly in late June and the club wish him the best of luck.
