Three of the four Under 13 Hurling Finals were completed on Saturday last, with matches being played in Clarecastle, O'Callaghans Mills and Tulla..........
The Division 2 Final threw up one of the most exciting Finals in the Competition for a long time, with a very skillful Feakle/Killenena snatching victory from a terrific Cratloe side with a last minute goal from a semi-penalty.
The John O'Brien Trophy was won by O'Callaghans Mills when they overcame neighbours, Tulla, while the John O'Brien Shield is Bodykes for twelve months as they defeated The Banner in another cracking match.
The Division 1 Final between Clarecastle and Eire Og was 5 minutes into the first half when torrential rain and hailstone made it impossible for the teams to play, so the Referee wisely called a halt to proceedings. The game has been re-fixed for this Saturday at 11AM in Clarecastle. Lets hope the weather is kinder for the re-fixture!
