It is never easy to pick up a Munster Championship medal!
So, well done to the seven Clooney/Quin boys who were part of the victorious East Clare U-16 hurling squad on Monday. They landed the divisional title in style, beating Seandun in the semi-final and Mid Tipperary in the final. Niall Hehir was on the scoreboard and put in two fine performances. Our other representatives were John Reynolds, David Barry, Keith Hogan, Jason Ryan, Peter Duggan and Brian Clune.
