St. Patricks Day in Clare means different things to people, but, for hurling folk, it meand just one thing, the Under 21 Hurling Championship.
Clubs all over the county have had their eyes focused on that date on the calendar since early January, and now it's time to ease off the training and hone-in on the match itself.......

The "A" side will take on a formidable Eire Og side on Tuesday week, the game having been fixed for Gurteen.
Meanwhile, the "C" side, who originally were due to take on neighbours, Newmarket on march 28th, have had their preparations seriously curtailed as the match has been brought forward to St. Patricks Day also. Their game is fixed for Kilkishen.
Further details will be available next week.
