Under 12 Footballers on the Road

The Football Championship continues for our U-12s this week with a trip to Ballynacally on Wed. 5th for a meeting with the host club, Clondegad at 7pm.
We have a large squad of U-12 players and they are all getting a lot of football action this year with two teams playing each week.

Under 12 Footballers in League Round 2 Action

On Wednesday next, Clooney Quin U-12 Footballers will make the short trip to Gurteen to take on our near neighbours, Doora/Barefield in Round 2 of the championship. The throw-in will be at 6.45pm.

Clooney/Quin U-12 Footballers are going to college this week!
On what is a relatively quiet week for our underage teams in terms of championship action, Peter Sheehy's charges will head to St. Flannan's College on Wednesday to take on St. Flannan's/Dal gCais in the final round in the league section of the Div.1/2 Championship. The ball will be thrown in at 7pm. The climatic conditions have not been favourable to the lads for the last few matches. Lets hope that when they can hop the ball this week it will come back up!

Under 12 Footballers Brave the Elements

In what was a miserable, wet evening for sport, our U-12 Footballers played out an exciting championship match against An Boithrin on Wednesday evening in Hennessy Park. Just like last week, this game could have gone either way. Unfortunately, for the home side, it was The Townies who claimed victory on a 2.4 to 1.4 scoreline.
