The under 12 footballers continue to show great heart and determination as they beat Clondegad last evening(Wednesday 14th May) in another thrilling match.
On a lovely sunny evening in Ballynacally, the lads got off to great start, scoring 2. 2 without reply before Clondegad pulled us back to two points.
Undaunted, we went on to score another goal and a point to lead at half time on the score 3.3 to 2.1.
The second half was a tight affair when the lads eventually edging out Clondegad
4.3 to 2.4 including a great penalty save by our captain and outstanding player Conor Grogan.
Once again, David Sheehy was excellent in goal. Douglas Reddan and Ruadhan Dunne continue to "boss" the Full Back and Centre Backs positions.
Rory Corbett worked so hard at centre forward, while Eanna Barry and Michael Corry tormented the Clondegad defence all night with their ability to score goals and points.
