The Under-12 Footballers gave another brave and wholehearted performance last evening (Wednesday) in Roslevan.

Playing against one of the favourites for the A championship and without 3 of our best players - Paul Leamy, David O'Brien and Alex Maguire - the lads held Doora/Barefield scoreless until 5 minutes into the second half. However the defensive effort proved too much and Doora/Barefield went on to win on a scoreline of 2.4 to 0.1.  Conor Grogan got our point.

Once again, there were excellent displays by David Sheehy (goalkeeper), Douglas Reddan, Ruadhan Dunne, Conor Grogan and the emerging Robert Dwane. Newcomer Tadhg Shanahan gave a superb display at corner back belying his young age.

Despite last evening's result, we are in the B semi-final and are now due to meet Brian O'Neill's Kilmurry/Ibrickane next Wednesday 28th May.
