Playing a wonderful brand of fast-moving football, Clooney Quin held the upper hand in the first half of this 50 minute game and led by 1-3 to 0-3 at the short whistle.

Our boys have defeated Meelick, Ml. Cusacks and The Banner on their way to this stage of the competition, putting in some very good performances en route. Meanwhile, the Coolmeen/Kildysart amalgamation has been very impressive in topping their group and will provide a serious test.
The throw-in is at 6.45pm. Why not come along and support the lads and their management team of Brian O’Neill and Liam Conneally.

Following their defeat to Parteen in Round 3, our U-16 footballers got their championship ambitions very much back on track last evening in Hennessey Park when they played The Banner in their final group match.

With the help of goals from Richie Hennessey and David Reynolds, Clooney Quin eased their way to a 2.8 to 1.1 victory.
The boys have now qualified for the semi-final which will be played in a few weeks time..
