Clooney Quin U-16 Footballers got their championship campaign off to the best possible start on Saturday when they overcame Meelick in Round 1 at the superb Knockalisheen grounds.
After an even first half, the visitors pulled away after the interval to secure a 3.8 to 1.4 victory.
