The Clooney-Quin Ladies football team scored a thrilling one point victory over Newmarket in the Intermediate League Final on the Bank Holiday Monday (3rd May). The game was a topsy-turvey affair, with both sides enjoying periods of supremacy over the hour, but the Clooney-Quin girls were ahead when it mattered most. After the game, Clare Ladies Football Board Chairman, Johnny Hayes presented the Trophy to an inspirational Clooney-Quin Captain, Gemma Hassett.
