U14 Ladies Football secure shield

The Clooney Quin U14 ladies footballers did their club proud at the weekend by winning the Division 3 shield final. This game was played in the Banner against Clarecastle. The girls came out on top to seal an impressive win. Well done Girls. Smile

The U14 B Girls Football Shield Final against Newmarket is on Friday the 2nd October at 5.30pm in Clooney pitch. All girls are asked to be there at 5.00pm.

Ashling and Marie - All Ireland Winners

 In the All-Ireland Girls under 14B football final  Final held in Corofin, Co. Galway Saturday, 27 June 2009, Clooney Quin Ladies Football Club were ably repesented by Ashling Corbert and Marie Hehir. Clare won the final against Roscommon on a scoreline of 8-11 to 2-5. Ashling had a superb game in midfield while Marie was a strong presence at fullback.

 Congrats to both girls.

Hannah Dons the Safforn and Blue

Hannah O' Brien will be a key member of the Clare Primary Schools team that will take on Limerick in the traditional schools game scheduled for half time next Sunday in Cusack Park, where the Clare Footballers will be doing battle with Limerick in the Munster Senior Football semi-final.
