Clooney Quin U16 girls won their first game of the 'B' Championship last Friday evening when they defeated Miltown with a scoreline of 1-9 to 2-2.
The game played in beautiful conditions in Clooney was a tight affair with Clooney settling into the game quicker. However, this was Miltown's third game and their match fitness began to tell as they edged themselves back in to the game. In the end, Clooney held on for an impressive victory and now face Shannon Gaels as their next opponents.
