It was a good weekend for the clubs Senior and Junior "B" hurling sides. Early on Saturday afternoon, the Seniors had a good away win in the Clare Cup Division 1 Round 3 game over Whitegate. The result was Clooney/Quin 1-18 Whitegate 2-7.
Later on Saturday evening, the Junior B Hurlers also secured a win in Round 1 of the League over The Banner in Ennis on a scoreline of Clooney/Quin 1-11 The Banner 0-9.
