On Thursday the 4th of April 2013, Klassy Dress Hire & Sales in Quin will be holding a Fashion Show
and Local Business Exhibition in Quin Community Centre. Among the features on the night will be:

  • Showcasing ladieswear, Debs, bridal, menswear and more....
  • Exhibition by local businesses with special offers up for grabs!
  • Great Spot prizes to give away!!!

Doors open at 7:30pm
All proceeds will benefit Clooney/Quin GAA club

The Spancilhill Drama Group are on stage this Saturday March 9th at the Quin Community Hall commencing at 8.00pm sharp with the final performance of “Here Lays Paddy Broderick”, a much acclaimed hilarious two-act comedy written by our own local play writer, Anita O’Loughlin for our local audiences. Prior to the main act, we have by primary school pupils a short award winning comedy act called  :

"An Important Visitor” written by Mike Hogan and Linda Conneally’s group with traditional dancing. A great night of laughter guaranteed ….. come along early, don’t be disappointed.   

Tickets €5.00 each and can be bought at the door, Spot prize’s raffle on the night, refreshments as well. 

Proceeds from this performance will be donated to Clooney GAA Club to help in the development and coaching of GAA games in our local primary schools.

We are hoping that younger parents of the parish will support as it’s for a good cause. They are the future of the club.

The first meeting of ClooneyQuin Minor Club in 2013 will take place in the meeting room over the ball alley on Friday 1st February at 9pm. Please come along and have a voice as we finalise plans for the new playing season.

Quin Hall is the place to be on this Saturday evening when trophies and medals will be presented to the boys and girls of the victorious ClooneyQuin teams who won County Cups and Shields in 2012. Teams in the U11, U12, U13, U14 and U16 age categories will be honoured as well as our World Championship handballers. Mike Duggan will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and all are invited.
