Here we are, still in the first week of the New Year, and the GAA Folk of the Parish are already out and about preparing for various events and getting organised for the new season.....
On St. Stephens Day, a fine turnout went for a leisurely stroll and chat in the walk organised by the Club from the Clubhouse. The day was enjoyed by young and old, as stories on what Santa had delivered were exchanged. On completion of the walk, the participants enjoyed some refreshments in the Clubhouse.
The Under 21 hurlers have also commenced their pre-season training under the watchful eye of Eoin Gallagher and his fellow selectors, Cathal Egan, Keith Mungovan and Pa Reynolds.
As we head into February, more teams will commence preparation for the upcoming year.
Perhaps there are new neighbours who have an interest in joining one of the many teams catered for within the club? Why not make this a little easier by volunteering the relevant information on who they should contact should they wish to do so?
Alternatively, they could E-Mail the Website Admin who will pass-on the relevant contact details. E-Mail

There was a big Raffle held on December 23rd when €4,000 was Raffled off from the Prizefund. Congratulations to the 22 Winners and thanks to all who have supported the Lotto over the past number of years.
Finally, Happy New Year to one and all!
Let the action commence!
