There was good news for the Clooney/Quin Minor Club when they emerged winners of Category B in the Club of the Year Awards which were announced at the Bord na nOg County Convention on Thursday evening last, December 11th.....
These awards are judged on how well all teams had performed during the season, the disciplinary record of the club, number of teams in competion along with the number of active referees representing the club.
It was a nice bonus at the end of a very successful season for the club, having won the Under 15 and 16 B titles and winning the Under 12 Division 2 Shield.
Well done to all involved.
For the record, Sixmilebridge won the Category A award, with Feakle/Killenena taking the Category C award.
