Its every Clare Clubs dream to represent their Parish and County in the All-Ireland Club Final in Croke Park on St. Patricks Day. Well, as we are all aware, our fellow Green and Red jersey-wearers, Kilmurry-Ibrickane will do just that next Wednesday as they line out against St. Galls from Antrim.
Being the first ever Clare football side to reach the Final, they face a very strong St. Galls side, but the Quilty lads will relish such a challenge as they go in search of the Andy Merrigan Trophy.
With a number of people from that side of the county well and truly settled in the Clooney/Quin parish, we hope the day goes well for them, and, with a little bit of luck, that Trophy will be passing very close to our border on Thursday evening.
Best of Luck, Lads!
