The Irish Cancer Society benefitted to the tune of €54,720 as a result of the massive efforts of the Friends of Clooney/Quin GAA in Climbing Carrauntoohil and the 10K Walk in April. At a function held in The Monks Well, Quin on Saturday evening last, Fr. Micheál Collins presented Julie Harris from the Irish Cancer Society with a cheque on everyones behalf.
