This Sunday, May 10th will probably be the busiest day in the long history of Clooney/Quin GAA Club, as the GAA Community celebrate Lá na gClub, GAA National Club Day. A hectic schedule of events has been put together by all the Club units in the Parish.
The Day will commence with a Special Mass in Quin Church at 11AM, followed by a Parade in the street at 12 noon.  The Parade will feature hurling, camogie and football teams of the past and present, with the added feature of a narration of the History of GAA in the Parish down the years.
A Fun Day will be held at the GAA Complex in Clooney at 1PM, with Bouncing Castles, Long Puck, Kick-Fada, Ronders and assorted games for all the Family. There may be a few surprise games and competitions thrown in to entertain and enthrall the crowds also! To top off the day, there will be a Bar-B-Q at 3PM where people can relax after the days exertions.
The club extend an open Invitation to everyone in the Community to come along and enjoy the event. Pass the word around to friends and neighbours............
