The Clooney-Quin GAA Victory Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 6th last in The Clare Inn Hotel went off with a bang, with the general consensus that it was "One Hell of a Do"......
The presentation of County Championship medals to the Senior Camogie team was conducted by Clare All-Ireland Under 21 hurler, Enda Barrett. The Junior "A" football winning side were presented with their medals by Munster Player of the Year, Darren Hickey, while County Board Chairman, Michael O'Neill presented medals to the Senior 7-a-side Winning team.
Special awards were made to Deirdre Murphy and Cillian Duggan who won All-Ireland Medals in 2009. With presentations and speeches out of the way, the party commenced in earnest, with all sorts of shapes thrown on the dance floor to the sounds of the excellent DJ, Eoin Rice.
