Fr. Micheál McInerney is well noted as one of the best story tellers in the parish and we can now say with certainty that he has passed on the great art of the seanchaí to his grandnephew, Liam Fahy.........
Representing Clooney/Quin GAA, Liam took 1st place in Recitation/Storytelling at Scór na mPaistí in Cois na hAbhna last Friday night. This award follows up Liam's 2nd place in Scór na nÓg at Christmas. Well Done Liam!
Well done also to our Grúpa Ceoil (coached by Pádraig Grogan), our quiz teams and solo singers. They all performed magnificently on the night.
This is the club's 1st foray into the GAA talent competition and we hope to keep it going.
