Our underage teams did not get the results they desired this week.....

The U-14 Hurlers had to give way to Sixmilebridge on Friday. It was Clooney/Quin who had most of the play early on but the failure to convert superiority into scores proved costly as The Bridge hit 3 goals before half time to take a commanding lead to the break.
Credit to our boys for coming out with great spirit at the start of the 2nd half and taking the game to the visitors once again. Playing some fine hurling they closed the deficit to 4 points with 10 minutes remaining. However, Sixmilebridge finished strongly and left with a 3.14 to 2.7 victory.
Our U-16 Footballers went under to Newmarket on Monday evening on a 3.9 to 0.4 scoreline.
The U-12 Footballers fared better on Wednesday evening when they had a 4.3 to 0.5 win over Clarecastle.

Round 2 of the U-14A Hurling championship is fixed for this evening in Hennessy Park when Clooney/Quin take on Doora/Barefield. The match has a 5.30pm throw-in.
Our U-16 Footballers will play Clarecastle at home on Monday at 6.30pm.
The U-12s will try to make it 2 wins out of 2 when they take on Doora/Barefield at home on Wednesday, also at 6.30pm
