Following her election to the Executive of the Clare County GAA Board, Sandra Reynolds has created a piece of History in becoming the first woman to hold a position on the County Executive....................
At Tuesday evenings County Board Meeting, she defeated Peter Casey from St. Breckans and Colm Fitzgerald from Ennistymon for the role of Youth Officer, succeeding Michael O'Connor who was elected to the Coaching Officers role at the County Convention.
Having served as Treasurer and more recently as Secretary of Clooney/Quin GAA Club, Sandra has served her Apprenticeship well, performing her duties at Club level very efficiently. No doubt she will do the same as she represents the Club on the County Board.
