Clooney/Quin GAA Club Victory Dinner Dance
Last Friday Feb 29th was a big night for Clooney/Quin's victorious Junior B Hurling Champions as they received their County Championship medals......
The Night was a very enjoyable evening, with MC, PJ Cunningham keeping things moving along.
New Chairman, Malachi Murray welcomed all who attended the event and paid tribute to the Team and Panel along with the backroom team of Francis,Sonny,Kevin and Danny.
Johnny Hill the Vice-Chairman of Clare County Board also congratulated the Club on its Junior Championship success before presenting the medals to the Victorious Junior B Hurling Champions.
The Venue was The Clare Inn, which was a perfect Venue for the occasion.
The evening also saw the Official Launch of the Clubs Website, www.clooneyquingaa.ie, the highlight of this being a Video clip of the drama of the final moments of the Final itself, set to some appropriate music.
The DJ, John Carey ensured that there were no Wallflowers in evidence afterwards as he got everyone up and and about on the dance-floor for the remainder of the evening. We were also joined later-on in the night by Supporters from McQuillens GAA Club in Co. Antrim who were in the area for an Allˍireland Colleges Camogie semi-final. There were a few supporters from Loughgiel Shamrocks also in attendance. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful evening at the Event. Now, its onto the Junior "A" Championship in 2008 for the Lads! Well Done, all......
