The club colours were worn with great pride in Cois na hAbhna on Sunday as Clooney Quin contributed to a fantastic day of entertainment at the County Finals of Scór na bPáistí.
We competed with distinction in six categories – Figure Dancing, Ballad Group, Solo Singing, Music Group, Novelty Act and Quiz – challenging for top honours in all.
When the results were announced we had two first place finishers.
Our fleet-footed dancers – Aishling McMahon, Aoife Guilfoyle, Hannah Conneally, Mary Conneally, Cliodhna O’Keeffe, Elliott Cleary, Oisin Egan and Conal Egan - took well-deserved gold medals in Figure Dancing. And our aspiring young actors regaled the audience and judges to take gold in the Novelty Act. The cast members were Aoife Deane, Sophie Barbotin, David Rochford, Darragh Ryan, Conor Cregan and Paul Hogan.
Proof positive once again that Clooney Quin has got talent. Congrats to all involved!
