Clare GAA and Munster Council will award up to 70 Gaeltacht Scholarships in 2010. Munster Council made a regulation last year that grants be given only to Students attending Colleges in Munster. These Colleges are situated in Carrigaholt Co.Clare, Coláiste na Rinne, Co. Waterford ,Ballingeary Co.Cork (Gerard Healy 0868512095) and a number of Coleges in Corcha Dhuibhne (Kerry) We will have application forms available for Corcha Duibhne Colleges in Clare Abbey from early May.
Also we have succeeded in getting Munster Council to give 20 Scholarships to pupils attending Colleges in Aran Islands and Connemara . These will be given on first come basis.
No scholarship will be given to a member of any club that has not a properly elected Irish Officer as notified with the Cub Affiliations for 2010.
Only Students who are actively involved with clubs in Camogie, Scór, hurling or football should have forms signed for them.
