Hurlers in Inter-County Action
Over the next week, Clare have three hurling sides in action. Hopes are high that Clooney-Quin will supply representatives in two of these games.
On Saturday, the Seniors take on Dublin in a Hurling Qualifier game, with Fergal Lynch on the Senior Panel, having started at full forward in the
Munster Championship encounter with Waterford in June. Twenty-four hours later, the Clare Minors will attempt to bridge a gap that stretches
way back to 1989 as they take on favourites, Waterford in the Munster Minor Final.
On Wednesday next, Clare Under 21's hurlers put their Provincial and All-Ireland Titles of 2009 on the line when they take on Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds in the
Munster semi-final. Having been a vital member of last years team that captured Clares first ever Munster and All-Ireland titles at this Grade,
Cillian Duggan is fancied to be handed the County jersey once again.
Best of Luck to Fergal, Cillian and all Clare players that take to field this week.
C'mon the Banner!
