There was disappointment for all Clare supporters on Sunday as the Kilkenny Minors pipped a superb Banner side in the All-Ireland Minor hurling Final in Croke Park. The Clare lads played superbly throughout but Kilkenny hit the front late on and held on for a two point win. The pain of this defeat over time will subside as the Clare men can look back with pride on their magnificent achievements, the highlight of the year being the day when Paul Flanagan lifted the Munster Minor Trophy for only the third time in the Countys History. Captain, Paul, with his Quin links to the Enrights, was also joined on the Panel by Jarlath Colleran, who also has a strong association with the Parish through his Grandmother, Dolly, along with his Uncles,Aunts and Cousins.
Well done, all. With the skill, character and dedication shown by you all, your Day will come!
Up the Banner!
