Inspirational Clooney-Quin Senior Camogie player, Deirdre Murphy, along with Clare team-mate Fiona Lafferty,  has been nominated for this years Camogie All-Star team. Deirdre has been short-listed along with eight other players for the half-forward line, with Fiona Lafferty among nine nominated for the full forward line. Both players starred for the Banner in this years League and Championship campaigns. Though they are up against stiff opposition from counties Wexford and Cork, to name two, hopes are high that they can bring an award to The Banner. The All-Star team will be announced at at a Gala banquet at City West Hotel on November 6th.
