19 May 2011
Our Big Day is a matter of hours away now, with plans almost complete for the event.
Last weeks Newsletter contained a detailed analysis of whats required, so I will just go through the main points briefly once more.
On Saturday, we require some help to prepare for the event. We will meet at 9AM and work through the various jobs that need to be completed.
On Sunday, we will need Car Park and Traffic Stewards, Crowd Stewards and help with Catering (and some baking from those with the necessary skills!).
If you haven't already done so, please give your name to Pat O'Brien (0878188358) or any Club Officer, be it Senior, Minor, Camogie and Ladies Football or Handball Club.
ALL Help is asked to be at the Pitch on Sunday not later than 5PM. For the Car Park, Traffic and Crowd Stewards, if you have a Hi-Vis jacket, please bring it.
A 44 page full-colour A4 Programme will be on sale from this evening, priced at €5. Its well worth it as its crammed with articles, pictures and items of interest to all GAA Fans.
Finally, we hope to have a large attendance on Sunday. Please do your bit by contacting friends and relatives who have an interest in GAA and encourage them to come along.
Try get to the Pitch by walking, cycling or getting dropped. Please try and leave your car at home!
Light refreshments will be available in The Village Inn at 10.30PM for all volunteers afterwards.
Admission on Sunday is €10 which includes a Free Programme. Student admission is €5.
Sunday is the Day when we put our best foot forward. Be part of our Celebration!
