Under 14 Hurlers Challenge Match Against Tulla

Tomorrow evening, (Friday 1st April), we will be in Tulla for a challenge match for the Under 14 hurlers. This will be a nice warm up to a busy week next week when we face both Clonlara on Wednesday and Ruan on Friday. Support is welcome as always.

On Thursday evening the Clare  division 4 feile Camogie finals will take place. Clooney will host Whitegate v Broadford in the semi final @ 6:30. Clooney Will Host U10 Boys Hurling Blitz Saturday

This is the first U10 blitz hosted by Clooney Quin  this year. The visiting teams will be from Smith O'Briens, Bodyke, Sixmilebridge and Feakle-Killanena. With great numbers coming to training, Kevin will have them all ready for battle on home ground Saturday morning. Some of these boys will also take to the field on Monday in the U11's Connumity Games …

U12 Boys Football continue their winning streak

Pictured here are the U12 boys football team that defeated the North Clare amalgamation side last Sunday in Clooney. The boys next match will be in Cooraclare next Wednesday May 6th at 7.15pm. Cooraclare are also unbeaten in this league so far so it will prove to be a challenging match.

Under 14 Hurlers Rescheduled Matches

The Under 14 Hurlers have had to reschedule 2 matches at the request of Clonlara and Ruan. Both matches will now take place next week: Ruan at 18:30 in Ruan on Friday 8th and Clonlara at 18:30 in Clonlara on Wednesday 6th.

On what has to be the worst evening weather wise in a long time, Clooney Quin were victorious over Coolmeen in this Div II semi final. Kilmaley GAA pitch was the venue for this match. U8 Boys Football Blitz in Eire Og

Last Saturday (Apr 25th) 24 ClooneyQuin players turned out for the first U8 football blitz of the season. The venue was Eire Og with an unusually early start time of 9am. The rain and cold and wind could not dampen the enthusiasm of our boys and our three teams produced excellent performances all around.
