Fixture : Saturday Sept. 14th  U21 Camogie  Corofin/Ruan v Clooney Quin  6pm in Corofin.   Camogie + Ladies football results this week: U16B Camogie: Clooney/Quin 4-9; Parteen/Broadford 1-4. Through to cup semi final v Ruan. Minor C Ladies Football: Clooney/Quin 10-5; Eire Og 3-2. U14D Ladies Football: Corofin 2-9 (15); Clooney/Quin Red 3-6 (15).

U16 Camogies through to U16B semi final

The U16B camogies have had a great run in their championship to date with five wins from five against DooraBarefield, Sixmilebridge, Feakle Killenena,Parteen/Broadford and Ruan. Clare U14 Camogie Blitz with Clooney Quin well represented

Well done to the Clooney Quins representatives on the Clare U14  camogie panel who played Laois and Cork last weekend in the All Ireland U14 Championship Blitz in Dublin. Clare loas to Cork and beat Laois on the day and representing Clooney Quin was Orna Moynihan, Ellen Collins , Ellie McSherry , Emma Quinn and  Amy Senton.

Minor and U16 hurling Results and Fixtures

The minor hurlers put up a great battle against Kilmaley last Friday evening in Clooney in the Minor A championship. They conceded two early goals in the first half but fought back very hard and showed great character to win by two points on the final whistle. Congratulations to Clooney Quin's Fergal Coughlan Jnr, 60 x 30 All Ireland Men's Junior B Champion. Fergal defeated Mikey Egan (Ros) 21-7, 21-11. This is Fergal's second All Ireland Singles title in 2019, which is some achievement. Fergal was also nominated as Clare FM Cummins Car Sales Sports Star of the month
