Clooney-Quin minor hurlers opened their campaign with a home match against Championship favourites Clonlara in Clooney field on Thursday evening. Junior B Game

Feakle travelled to Ballyhickey to take on the home team on June 28th in the Junior B League, a well contested game up to the break, with a 2 point lead for feakle, who then showed greater determination and went on to take the points on a final score of Feakle 3 15 to Clooney 3-4.

First Hurling Minor game of the championship starts this Thursday 2nd July against Clonlara at 7 30 pm in Clooney. Clooney Quin hosted one to the County Boards Monster Blitzes on Saturday afternoon. This saw teams from all over the county descending on Clooneys pitch at 12:30.  There were teams from Inagh Kilnamona, Bodyke, The Banner, Clooney Quin, St. Josephs Doora Barefield, Scariff/Ogonnelloe, Tulla,Crusheen, Ennistymon, and O'Callaghans Mills.
