U8 first session

U8 Boys

The U8s boys returned to hurling training last Saturday on the astroturf at Gurteen pitch in Doora Barefield grounds. 38 boys turned up and were put through their paces under the guidance of the coaches. The boys practiced skills including sliotar sticks, ball chase, under arm throwing. They also completed funny animal moves such as duck, bear and spider walks. …

Clare won the U16B Munster camogie championship last weekend with a 2-04 to 1-05 win over Tipperary.  This is Clare's second U16 team and they competed very well with a win over Cork in the semi-final .
