U12 Hurling Competition Begins

U12 Hurling Competition Begins

The U12 hurlers will play their first round of the U12 Division 1 Cusack League and they will travel to Clarecastle for this game to play the hosts. They will be joined in their group by Clonlara, Cratloe, Wolfe Tones, Sixmilebridge, Scariff Ogonnelloe, St Josephs Doora Barefield, Inagh Kilnamona and Ballyea. The U14 hurlers made it through to the county U14A Championship final last weekend when the overcame St Josephs Doora Barefield in the semi final. U10 Ladies Football

U10 Ladies Football

On Sunday evening Clooney/Quin hosted near neighbours Doora/Barefield in challenge matches. Both clubs had enough players for two teams each so two matches were played simultaneously. Each team played two competitive close matches and all players were able to show off their skills gained from their weekly training sessions. Minor and U 16 Hurling Training

Combined Minor and Under 16   No Contact Hurling Training will continue next Wednesday 8th June and Friday 10th June at 8 pm.  Also there will be a session on Sunday 12th June at 10 30 am as both teams continue their preparation for the upcoming Minor and U16  Championship.

U11 Camogie Competition

The club U11 team played their last group games for the Tulla run U11 competition on Saturday evening last.  Clooney-Quin hosted this round and had Corofin, Ballyea and Truagh as visitors.  All teams played each other with Michael Culligan and Roisin Keogh refereeing the games. Clooney under 8 camogie players travelled to Ruan early last Saturday morning for a blitz. 13 girls played on the day which meant we had a team and a half.
