Clooney-Quin 3-07 to 1-00 Ruan/Burren
Clooney-Quin made it two from two with a good team performance over Ruan/Burren on Sunday evening.
Dominating possession in the first half the home side found it hard to break the resolute defense of Ruan. Rebecca Keane pointing before a brace of points from Ciara Halpin.  Aimee Louise Doherty & Moya Dunne grabbing goals which were split with one for the visitors. The home side led 2-4 to 1-0 at the break.
With sides evenly matched in the second half scored were tight & Clooney-Quin finally broke the defense lines with some  fine points from Emily Costelloe & Ciara Halpin before Moya Dunne bagged her second goal.  Ruan/Burren never gave up but Clooney-Quin were stronger & went on to win 3-07 to 1-00
