Saturday morning saw the start of the U12 League for the Clooney Red Team – This was a First official match for a lot of these girls.
Quin pitch was in perfect condition for the clash between Clooney and Clarecastle. Clooney got off to a great start and were leading the visitors 2-3 to 1-1 at half time. First half goals were from Clodagh Quinn at centre forward and Sarah Brasil at full forward. Clarecastle played well to get within a point of Clooney with full time score Clooney 3-4; Clarecastle 3-3.
