On this Saturday evening, July 4th, “the Heart Of Quin Group”, in association with Rhine Rovers Soccer Club, will hold a Black Pudding Fundraiser in the Village Inn, Quin, with the recently retired Mayor of Clare, John Crowe, as the Head Chef. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of a Heart Defibrillator for Quin village. The funds will also cover the upkeep of this new Defib along with the Defib which is currently located in Scoil Na Mainstreach. It is also planned to train and upskill local volunteers in First Responder courses. In the recent past, the Community lost, Tom Ryan and Tommy O Brien in tragic circumstances, both staunch Clooney/Quin GAA Supporters. This project is in their memory, along with providing possible life-saving equipment in an emergency. A large turnout is expected on the night, with music and entertainment planned. We ask all members to support this Fundraiser by purchasing a Ticket, cost €5 or turning up on the night. We look forward to seeing you there!
