The Junior A hurlers recorded a win over Broadford on Sunday afternoon in Tulla in the first round of the Junior A Championship.They got over the line with a two pint advantage that came from a goal that came on the 25th minute in the second half by substitute Patrick Cunningham. The goal in the first half came from Alan Culligan. Gary Hogan showed some skill by popping the ball over the bar from a sideline in the first half. Final score Clooney Quin 2 10 Broadford 1 11.
