The Junior League finished with disappointment on Sunday evening last when CLooney-Quin lost out to a stronger Clarecastle/Ballyea side.  Clooney-Quin were first on the score board with a goal inside 3 minutes, but never scored after this.

This was a huge disappointment as the girls had worked so hard and played so well over the course of the league.  The evening just did not go their way and the amalgamation side won the league title at what was their third time of asking.

The girls from the Junior will be working away with the Senior side as all girls attend club adult training on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the field 7:15pm.

Both sides are not preparing for Championships which will start in August.
